MyCargoGate Group is a leading logistics company specializing in cross-border eCommerce, headquartered in Switzerland with subsidiaries in Germany and Spain. With 95% of our business dedicated to customs clearance, we are at the forefront of ensuring seamless global trade operations.

We are looking for an Office & Custom Assistant (m/w/d) – 100% to join our team in Rheinfelden (Germany). In this position with a split focus, you will be responsible for a variety of office tasks as well as handling customs-related responsibilities. What you will do:

· Customs assistant (80%)

- Prepare and process customs documentation and ensure compliance with international customs regulations.

- Handle the preparation of export and import declarations, ensuring all requirements are met.

- Coordinate with customs brokers and authorities to ensure timely clearance of shipments.

- Monitor and track shipments to ensure adherence to customs processes and deadlines.

- Keep up to date with relevant customs regulations and provide support to colleagues regarding customs-related matters.

- Assist in handling customs audits and ensuring proper documentation is in place for inspections.

· Office assistant (20%)

- Manage daily administrative tasks, including document preparation, filing, and correspondence.

- Support office organization and supply management.

- Handle general office communication and liaise with internal teams.

What you will need:

  • Proven experience in an office administration or customs assistant role.

  • Strong knowledge of customs processes and international shipping regulations.

  • Proficient in MS Office and office management software.

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

  • Strong communication skills in English and German (spoken and written).

  • Attention to detail and ability to handle documentation with accuracy.

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
